Uber Technologies (NYSE:UBER) said it chose Melbourne, Australia’s second-largest city, as an international testing site for its flying taxi service called UberAir.

“Melbourne’s unique demographic and geospatial factors, and culture of innovation and technology, makes Melbourne the perfect third launch city for UberAir,” said Susan Anderson, the Regional General Manager for Uber in Australia, New Zealand and North Asia.

In addition to Melbourne, Uber plans to conduct testing in Dallas and Los Angeles, before starting commercial activities in 2023.
