Two weeks after Amazon announced that it would slash its free delivery option from the existing two-days to one for its Prime members, the company came up with another offer, this time for its employees who are willing to quit their jobs and start their shipment firms, delivering Amazon packages to customers. The company said that it would invest $10,000 in the firm plus offer three-month gross salaries to employees as it looks to scale up its delivery partnership program in the wake of stiff competition from Walmart and Target, who have expanded their shipping network in recent months.

Since its announcement, Amazon has received tens of thousands of requests for the limited number of openings and although applicants would have to go through a screening process that includes sharing financial information and holding at least $30,000 in liquid assets, the program is an excellent entrepreneurial opportunity for a large number of workers employed with the company and earning an annual package which averages about $30,000.
