Actualmente es uno de los indicadores m\u00e1s populares y esto se debe principalmente a dos razones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Es f\u00e1cil de interpretar y usar<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Es considerablemente efectivo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Por supuesto, como cualquier indicador t\u00e9cnico dentro del trading tiene sus beneficios, funcionalidades e incluso limitaciones. Vamos a darle un vistazo a esto y seguro tendr\u00e1s una perspectiva m\u00e1s clara de la herramienta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"  class=\"wp-block-heading\"  id=\"de_donde_salio_el_indice_de_fuerza_relativa\">\u00bfDe d\u00f3nde sali\u00f3 el \u00cdndice de Fuerza Relativa?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Su concepto apareci\u00f3 en el mundo del comercio burs\u00e1til cuando Welles Wilder lo cre\u00f3 por el a\u00f1o 1970. Luego de ser publicado en la revista Commodities (actualmente Futures) en&nbsp; 1978, este \u00edndice no solo se popularizado sino que es usado por la mayor\u00eda de los operadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la era actual este oscilador es pr\u00e1cticamente accesible para todos aquellos que poseen una plataforma de trading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"  class=\"wp-block-heading\"  id=\"como_interpretar_el_rsi\">C\u00f3mo interpretar el RSI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Nuestro indicador es sencillo de interpretar. Ver\u00e1s, ni siquiera su ecuaci\u00f3n deber\u00eda representar un problema.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>100 \u2013 [100 \/ 1 + (Ganancias promedio \/ P\u00e9rdidas promedio)]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De ese c\u00e1lculo saldr\u00e1 una cifra situada entre 0 y 100, nuestra se\u00f1al oscilatoria. Para la mayor\u00eda de los operadores los rangos de 30 a 70 son los que realmente importan al observar el indicador RSI \u00bfPor qu\u00e9? Porque cualquier cosa por debajo de los 30 es una se\u00f1al de que un activo est\u00e1 sobrevendido. En cambio, cualquier cosa por encima de 70 es un indicio de que el activo est\u00e1 sobre comprado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero si eres de los traders que le gusta la adrenalina puedes jugar con los rangos de 15 y 84. Debajo o arriba de ellos, respectivamente, es una se\u00f1al innegable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"  class=\"wp-block-heading\"  id=\"sobrecompra_y_sobreventa\">Sobrecompra y Sobreventa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando el indicador RSI se ubica en la zona de sobrecompra se espera que la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/es\/aprenda-a-operar\/guia-de-operacion\/divergencia-bullish-y-bearish\/\">tendencia alcista<\/a> del precio se desplome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando el indicador RSI se ubica en la zona de sobreventa, lo que probablemente ocurra es que el precio, que permaneci\u00f3 en una tendencia bajista, comience a remontar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1594\" height=\"737\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/RSIZonas1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-82444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/RSIZonas1.jpg 1594w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/RSIZonas1-300x139.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/RSIZonas1-768x355.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/RSIZonas1-1024x473.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/RSIZonas1-378x175.jpg 378w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1594px) 100vw, 1594px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>El poder hacer estas lecturas en el \u00cdndice de Fuerza Relativa te permite usar el oscilador para buscar y encontrar divergencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"  class=\"wp-block-heading\"  id=\"divergencias_con_el_rsi\">Divergencias con el RSI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Una divergencia se da cuando un activo llega a un nuevo m\u00e1ximo o m\u00ednimo en el precio, pero el RSI no lo hace. El primer escenario que puede ocurrir es que se d\u00e9 una se\u00f1al bajista (el instante en el que los traders experimentados vender\u00e1n). El otro caso que puede darse es cuando un precio alcanza un nuevo m\u00ednimo, pero el RSI no lo muestra. As\u00ed se convierte en una se\u00f1al alcista (el momento en el que los traders con experiencia comprar\u00e1n).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando utilices el \u00cdndice de Fuerza Relativa es necesario que est\u00e9s atenta\/o a las posibles divergencias para evitar aplicar una estrategia err\u00f3nea. Monitoreando los movimientos del indicador RSI te har\u00e1s una idea de si es el momento indicado para entrar o salir de las operaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"  class=\"wp-block-heading\"  id=\"ejemplo_de_indice_de_fuerza_relativa_rsi\">Ejemplo de \u00cdndice de Fuerza Relativa (RSI)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Veamos a un ejemplo de c\u00f3mo aparecen las se\u00f1ales del RSI en los gr\u00e1ficos de precios a tiempo real. En la primera parte del historial de precios de BTC \/ USD (lado izquierdo del gr\u00e1fico), podemos ver que las valoraciones de BTC se captan en un repunte a corto plazo:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1591\" height=\"823\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi2es.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-82438\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi2es.jpg 1591w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi2es-300x155.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi2es-768x397.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi2es-1024x530.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi2es-378x196.jpg 378w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1591px) 100vw, 1591px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, la actividad del precio alcista env\u00eda valoraciones de BTC a la zona de sobrecompra (con una lectura del RSI a 85). La recuperaci\u00f3n del Bitcoin empieza a detenerse en el momento en el que el indicador sugiere que el activo est\u00e1 sobrevalorado. En nuestro ejemplo, el gr\u00e1fico de precios BTC\/USD emite una importante se\u00f1al; es momento de comenzar a acortar el mercado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1592\" height=\"824\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi3esp.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-82448\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi3esp.jpg 1592w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi3esp-300x155.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi3esp-768x398.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi3esp-1024x530.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi3esp-378x196.jpg 378w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1592px) 100vw, 1592px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La confirmaci\u00f3n de la se\u00f1al de sobrecompra se produce cuando el indicador RSI traspasa por debajo (nuevamente) el umbral de 70. Con esta actividad el indicador RSI confirma que el impulso del mercado se est\u00e1 volcando, por lo que la recuperaci\u00f3n alcista anterior no se extender\u00e1 m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En dicha etapa, las operaciones a corto plazo deben iniciarse con un stop loss por encima de los precios m\u00e1ximos que se crearon en la lectura de la se\u00f1a de sobrecompra del RSI (aqu\u00ed se nota con la l\u00ednea horizontal blanca). Los traders deben colocar el stop loss \u00e1rea porque la se\u00f1al de venta se invalidar\u00e1 por sobre esta zona en el futuro. Los objetivos de ganancias (Take Profit) deben colocarse a una distancia de tres veces el riesgo total en la operaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez el BTC\/USD comience a moverse en una direcci\u00f3n favorable (en retroceso), los traders pueden mover los stop loss hasta el punto de equilibrio, eliminando as\u00ed todo riesgo en la operaci\u00f3n. Los precios de mercado BTC\/USD est\u00e1n atrapados en una tendencia bajista a corto plazo. Lo que hace que el valor del RSI est\u00e9 por debajo del umbral de sobreventa (llegando a 20). En esta etapa, la mayor\u00eda de los operadores ver\u00edan dicha se\u00f1al como una oportunidad de compra ya que el activo est\u00e1 infravalorado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1591\" height=\"820\" src=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi5esp.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-82451\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi5esp.jpg 1591w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi5esp-300x155.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi5esp-768x396.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi5esp-1024x528.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/rsi5esp-378x195.jpg 378w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1591px) 100vw, 1591px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La se\u00f1al de confirmaci\u00f3n llega cuando el indicador RSI cruza nuevamente por encima del umbral 30 (lo que indica que la tendencia bajista a corto plazo se ha completado). En este caso, se seguir\u00edan aplicando las mismas reglas de estrategia (esta vez a la inversa). Las operaciones largas se iniciar\u00edan con un stop loss por debajo de los m\u00ednimos de precios, lo que cre\u00f3 la lectura del indicador de sobrecompra en el RSI (l\u00ednea horizontal blanca). Los traders colocar\u00e1n el stop loss en esta \u00e1rea porque la se\u00f1al de compra se volver\u00e1 inv\u00e1lida si los precios se mueven por encima de esta \u00e1rea en el futuro. Los objetivos de ganancias en la posici\u00f3n larga deben colocarse al menos 3 veces el riesgo total de la operaci\u00f3n. Una vez que la operaci\u00f3n en corto comienza a moverse en una direcci\u00f3n favorable (a la baja), los traders pueden mover los stop losses hasta el punto de equilibrio (eliminando el riesgo en la operaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El RSI es un indicador de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asktraders.com\/es\/aprenda-a-operar\/analisis-tecnico\/\">an\u00e1lisis t\u00e9cnico<\/a> que todo trader debe usar. Eso s\u00ed, no es el \u00fanico, y ciertamente en ocasiones puede fallar.
