- Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is set to open its second cashier-free store in New York City today.
- The e-commerce giant opened its first Amazon Go store in downtown Manhattan on May 7.
The second cashier-free store will be located at 300 Park Avenue and will open at 6.00 am today, making it the thirteenth such store within the U.S.
This new store, located in Manhattan, is 1,700 square feet in size, and it will serve espresso drinks and brewed coffee; shoppers will also be able to make drinks at a self-serve kiosk. Additionally, the Amazon Go store will accept cash, as well as card payments.
Reportedly, Amazon could open up to 3,000 cashier-free locations across the country, by 2021.
