Dycom Industries (NASDAQ: DY) shares soared 15.5% on Tuesday after the construction engineering company handily beat earnings and revenue expectations. DY delivered $0.53 EPS in Q1, 10 cents up on the pre-report consensus. Contract revenue rose 14% to $833.74 million and it now expects returns to rise to as much as $885 million in Q2. The company also offered $0.59-0.81 EPS guidance for the next quarter.
