ELECTRIFY AMERICA TO BUILD MORE EV CHARGERS AT WALMART STORES

Electrify America, the operator of an electric vehicle charging network and a subsidiary of Volkswagen Group of America, said it plans to expand its network of electric vehicle charging stations installed at Walmart store locations. “What Walmart offers is the heartland of America.
That is a massive benefit geographically for us,” said Brendan Jones, Electrify America’s chief operating officer.
Currently, the company operates 120 stations at Walmart stores, but it plans to bring the total number to of stations up to 300 by the end of this year.
