Halma PLC (LON:HLMA) fiscal 2019 profit rises 20% driven by record revenues
- Halma PLC (LON:HLMA) reported today that its fiscal 2019 profits grew 20%.
- The company attributed the higher profits to record-breaking revenue figures.
The British technology company, which makes health, safety and environmental products, revealed that it made a pretax profit of £206.7 million ($262.4 million) during fiscal 2019 as compared to the £171.9 million recorded in fiscal 2018.
The firm’s adjusted pretax profit was £245.7 million, as opposed to the £213.7 million recorded last year, this was driven by the 13% jump in annual revenues to £1.21 billion.
Halma’s fiscal 2019 ended on March 31, and the company said that the 2020 financial year had started on the right note.
