- JSE loses 1.29% after drop in Financials and Resources stocks

After closing at 56 234 yesterday, the JSE initially strenghened to 56 669 on Wednesday morning. After that, however, it gradually weakened and at press time (15h21 GMT) it was trading at 55 511.
Gold mining is the only major sector that showed an improvement (+1.27%).
Financials lost 1.89% during the course of the day, and Resources are trading 0.72% lower.
The two top performers were Assore (JSE: ASR) and Anggold (JSE: ANG) which are trading 2.26% and 2.04% higher, respectively. South 32 (JSE: S32) also gained 2%. At the other end of the spectrum Distell (JSE: DGH) and Netcare (JSE: NTC) lost 5.37% and 5.09%, respectively.
