The parent firm of famous soccer club Manchester United announced third-quarter results on Thursday, May 16th. The company has announced its operating profits of £14.2 million, which represents a rise of 94.5% from the previous year’s result. The results are positive despite the tough season in the English Premier League the club was in.

Manchester United PLC reported revenues of £152.1 million, which represents a decline of almost £56 million on the previous quarter, but an increase of almost £15 million when compared to the same period last year.
