No timetable for Boeing (NYSE:BA) MAX 737 jets to resume flying: FAA

  • The 737 Max was grounded in March following two fatal crashes.
  • Bloomberg had earlier reported that the 737 MAX jets will resume services by December, quoting a FAA safety official.

The Federal Aviation Administration has not fixed a timetable for Boeing’s troubled 737 Max jets to return to service, FAA spokesperson Greg Martin said on Wednesday. According to Reuters citing sources, Boeing is not expected to submit its report on the software fix or conduct an authorised test flight this week, a prerequisite for approval.
