- States warn of increased prices
- US DoJ expected to make a decision soon
States of New York and California are amongst 10 US states which filed a lawsuit yesterday to stop T-Mobile’s (NASDAQ:TMUS) $26 billion acquisition of Sprint Corp (NYSE:S), citing fear of increased prices due to reduced competition.
“When it comes to corporate power, bigger is not always better,” said New York Attorney General Letitia James.
The U.S. Justice Department is expected to make a decision on the deal soon.
