- A merger could hurt competition, warns Trump
- The new company would generate $74 billion in annual sales
The United States President Donald Trump said he is concerned with the $121 billion proposed merger between the United Technologies Corp (NYSE:UTX) and Raytheon (NYSE:RTN).
“I want to see that we don't hurt our competition. I don't want to see where we have one less person that can compete for an order,” said Trump while praising both companies.
If the merger goes through as planned, a combined company would generate around $74 billion in annual sales.
