Tyson Foods (NYSE:TSN) is aiming to take a bite out of the plant-based meat market after outlining plans to launch protein meat-like products under a “Raised & Rooted” banner in the coming months.
“Today's consumers are seeking more protein options, so we're creating new products for the growing number of people open to flexible diets that include both meat and plant-based protein, For us, this is about ‘and' – not ‘or,” CEO Noel White said.
