On the other hand, holdings of Bitcoin, Ether and other cryptocurrencies have increased on Japanese exchanges during the coronavirus lockdown. According to the report , 169,376 BTC was held on Japanese exchanges, 11% more than the last month. Holdings of XRP increased by 6.4% to 3.2 billion, while Ether holdings surged over 5.7% to 1.14 million ETH. Other digital currencies that recorded an increase include Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Monacoin (MONA), Litecoin (LTC), and NEM (XEM). During the lockdown, BTC spot trading volumes were at 617.3 billion yen ($5.8 billion), 11 times more than XRP trading volumes.

Hello Predrag, Will Meade, a former employee of investment banking company Goldman Sachs, said he believes that Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin and Ethereum will reach their all-time highs in the future. Meade said he expects XRP to rally as much as 1500%. “I made my first crypto purchase ever this week $XRP Ripple I know very little about crypto but I believe a rising tide lifts all boats, so if Bitcoin goes back to its all-time highs then XRP should as well and that would be a 15 bagger 1500%,” Meade said. In addition, legendary trader Peter Brandt also said that he’s optimistic about XRP’s future, despite the fact that the cryptocurrency was one of the worst-performing assets last year, losing around 56%.

Hi Fernando, The IOTA Foundation recently announced the first release of its testnet for a fully decentralized network. The new version, named Pollen, will allow developers and crypto specialist to test IOTA as a fully decentralized network. Pollen represents a fast-developing research test network where the crypto community will be allowed to try out the concepts of IOTA 2.0, which represents a foundation for IOTA’s coordinator-free network. The new version of IOTA will be rolled out in three phases, with Pollen being the Phase 1. Phase 2, called Nectar, will contain the remaining elements of the IOTA 2.0 test network, and node operators that test the strength of the protocol will be awarded. The phase 3 is called Honey, and this will be the official release of IOTA 2.0 and the first fully decentralized version this blockchain.

Hey Marko, EOS price maintained its level until Friday when it surged sharply and peaked in the next morning. EOS even found a new support level, however, the coin broke it the following day when its price dropped to the initial value from the start of the last week. Furthermore, following a market-wide bull rally, EOS surged once again and even topped its weekly peak. In 2020, EOS price had great rallies in the first two months but collapsed after that due to coronavirus crisis, just like the rest of the crypto world. However, many cryptocurrencies managed to recover to their pre-crash values, but EOS didn’t. EOS has good prospects for long-term growth but the coin will have to move past some very strong resistance levels. I hope that helped.

The analysts estimate EUR/CHF to climb to 1.0850 in the third quarter and rise further to 1.09 in Q4. CIBC analysts said that the Swiss National Bank (SNB) stayed on “a unique path amongst central banks, focusing upon currency intervention rather than cutting rates further into negative territory or embarking upon QE. We expect that currency management will be the primary tool for the SNB, despite the prospect of a record economic contraction in 2020.”
