Computacenter (LSE: CCC) shares led the FTSE 100 risers on Monday, climbing as much as 5.5% to close at 4,834p, after investment bank Berenberg delivered a bullish double upgrade on the IT services provider.
Berenberg raised its rating on the stock to “Buy” from “Hold” and hiked its price target dramatically, from 3,450p to 5,300p — a jump of roughly 54%. The move comfortably outpaced the wider index, which slipped 0.3% on the day.
The broker said Computacenter is well positioned to beat current market expectations, forecasting first-half adjusted pre-tax profit of around £163 million, ahead of the £155 million consensus.

Berenberg also lifted its gross profit forecasts by 4-6% across 2026-2028 and raised adjusted operating profit estimates by as much as 17%, now pencilling in £349 million for 2026 versus a prior consensus of roughly £318 million.
The upgrade cites robust demand from hyperscale customers in North America, resilient growth in the UK, and improving conditions in Germany.
Berenberg also pointed to management’s long-term target of converting 30% of gross profit into operating profit as a further positive signal, while flagging any slowdown in hyperscale data-centre spending — particularly from Meta — as the key risk.
Monday’s rally builds on momentum from Computacenter’s own July 9 trading update, in which the company guided for first-half profits to roughly double year-on-year, driven by surging AI and hyperscale-related demand — its second profit upgrade in three months.
