Updated 8 Dec 2025

Compass Minerals' stock price (NYSE: CMP) has moved off the lows of the session, trading at $20.13, down 0.74% having earlier tested the $19.36 level. Despite the intraday decline, the stock has demonstrated significant upward momentum over the past year, rallying into today's earnings.

Wall St. is expecting Compass to bring in an EPS loss of $0.23 on the quarter, a narrowing on the $0.77 loss this time last year. Revenue is expected to have grown 7.14% to $223.72million on the period.

Given the anticipated volatility surrounding the earnings release, it would be wise to be cautious leading in to the print. Whilst this year's performance has been nothing short of impressive, for context, zooming out to the 5 year gives a completely different perspective, with the stock 67.27% lower on the period.
