Cloudbreak Discovery Hits Record Gold Grade at Darlot West, Western Australia

Cloudbreak Discovery Plc (LON: CDL) has announced what it described as “excellent results” from its recent rock chip sampling program at the Darlot West Gold Project.

The results build upon findings from the August sampling program, which reported rock chips containing up to 28.62 g/t gold.

This continued confirmation of high-grade gold mineralization underscores the project's exploration potential over a substantial area.

Multiple rock chip results exceeding 1 g/t gold have been recorded, plotted against regional low-resolution magnetics, indicating significant area-wide gold potential.

The magnetic highs and lows observed suggest structural complexity and dilation zones across the project area.

This, combined with evidence of highly elevated gold mineralization, points to the need for extensive follow-up sampling across the majority of the project area, which has seen little to no modern or historical exploration.

Historical mining shafts, outcrops, and trenches have already been shown to be gold-bearing, with previous metal detecting results confirming the presence of coarse gold.

The company’s aggressive exploration strategy appears to be paying dividends. The high-grade samples suggest the potential for a significant gold deposit, which, if proven, could substantially increase shareholder value.

Tom Evans, Cloudbreak's MD, commented: “These rock chip samples over such a large area are highly significant and it's very encouraging to see these results continue to confirm and show significant gold mineralisation potential over large parts of the Darlot West project.” He further stated that the company will continue to follow up on high-priority gold mineralization with the aim of moving the project towards drilling as soon as possible.

Future work programs include receiving assay results from previously taken soil samples and high-resolution airborne magnetics results, expected in late October or early November. These results will be crucial in refining areas for future drilling.
