Helium One Global (AIM: HE1), the Tanzanian helium explorer, announced significant progress at its Galactica Project in Colorado, USA, a joint venture with Blue Star Helium (ASX: BNL).
The company affirmed that first gas production remains on track for before the close of the year.
The gathering system is said to have successfully undergone pressure testing and is now fully connected to the production facility.
Helium One confirmed that the production facility has reached substantial completion, marking a critical step toward operational readiness. Commissioning of the facility is scheduled to commence this week.
Lorna Blaisse, Chief Executive Officer, stated, “I am pleased to announce that we are approaching the commencement of production at the Galactica project in partnership with Blue Star. This achievement marks a significant milestone for both the Joint Venture and our respective organisations.”
She further commended the onsite teams for their commitment in keeping the project on schedule.
Later today, at the company's Annual General Meeting, CEO Lorna Blaisse will provide shareholders with a general update and address questions. The presentation materials will be made available on the Helium One website following the event.
