Premier African Minerals (LON: PREM) announced a shift in its leadership structure. Graham Hill has been appointed as an executive director, effective immediately, following standard regulatory checks and his prior engagement as Premier Managing Director.

The appointment coincides with the resignation of George Roach as a director, marking the formal conclusion of his consultancy agreement as both Chief Executive Officer and a director.

PREM shares are down around 0.8% following the news.

Hill's background spans over 41 years in mine development and management across diverse regions, including Africa, southern Europe, Russia, and Central Asia.

His most recent role as Chief Operating Officer of Adriatic Metals PLC involved overseeing the development of the Vares Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His prior experience includes delivering the Silver Bear silver mine in eastern Siberia and leadership roles at Anglo American Corporation and Oxus Gold plc.

Godfrey Manhambara, Chairman of Premier African Minerals, commented, “Graham has wide experience that has direct relevance to our operations, and we welcome him to the Board.”
