Seeing Machines (SEE), a leader in vision-based monitoring technology, announced the formation of its Future Mobility Group, a dedicated division aimed at deepening integration with autonomous vehicle (AV) programs. The move signals a strategic response to the evolving landscape of the autonomous driving sector, which is transitioning from development to commercial deployment.
The establishment of the Future Mobility Group comes as autonomous vehicle programs globally shift towards production-ready, human-centered safety systems. Seeing Machines has already established a foothold in the sector, with its Guardian solution installed in over 1,000 self-driving development vehicles.
The new group is designed to facilitate deeper commercial and technical engagements, delivering embedded solutions that support the safe and effective scaling of autonomous vehicle operations.
The Future Mobility Group will collaborate with global customers to embed Seeing Machines' next-generation driver and occupant monitoring system (DMS/OMS) technology into their autonomy products and services. This structured engagement model aligns with the needs of next-generation mobility platforms, addressing the growing demand for sophisticated in-cabin monitoring solutions.
Paul McGlone, CEO at Seeing Machines, stated, “Future Mobility is not just about autonomy, it's about building transport systems that understand people as well as they understand the road. As automated driving technologies scale, interior sensing becomes a foundational capability, enabling safer, more reliable automation and greater trust between humans and machines.” The CEO's remarks highlight the company's vision of human-centric transportation systems.
