Shares of B&M European Value Retail plc (BME) are under pressure today following the announcement of several leadership changes, creating uncertainty about the company’s near-term direction.

Pritchard brings 40 years of retail industry experience, including roles at Asda and Wilko, and currently serves as Senior Independent Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at AO World.
B&M also announced the appointment of Jennifer Lawrence as Group People Director, effective May 5, 2026. Lawrence will lead a new Group HR function encompassing B&M UK, B&M France, and Heron, bringing over 25 years of HR experience from Boots Opticians, Costcutter, and Card Factory.
