Diales Guides to At Least 20% Rise in Annual Operating Profit

Diales Group has guided to full-year underlying operating profit of at least £1.8m, ahead of market expectations, on revenue of £44.0m, though cash at 30 September was lower than at 31 March.

in a trading update at 7am today, Diales Group (AIM: DIAL), the construction and engineering consultancy, announced it expects full-year underlying operating profit of at least £1.8m, ahead of market expectations. The group advises on expert witness work, claims and dispute resolution for the construction and engineering sectors.

It expects revenue of £44.0m for the year, up about 6.8% from £41.2m in FY2025, a comparison restated to strip out discontinued operations.

Underlying operating profit, which is measured before share-based payment costs, is expected to be not less than £1.8m, against £1.5m a year earlier. That is an increase of at least 20%. The figures are expectations rather than audited results, and the company has not given a date for its final results.

Two bullet bars compare Diales Group's FY2025 restated figures with FY2026 guidance: revenue is expected to rise from £41.2m to £44.0m, and underlying operating profit is guided to at least £1.8m, up from £1.5m.

Cash stood at £3.3m at 30 September, £0.6m below the £3.9m reported at 31 March 2026. About £1.0m of client receipts arrived shortly after 30 September, so it is not in that balance.

Chief executive Mark Wheeler acknowledged weaker conditions in some regions but said demand for the group’s services had held up.

Whilst market conditions have remained challenging in certain territories, particularly across parts of the Middle East and Europe, demand for the Group’s specialist dispute resolution and expert services has remained resilient.

Wheeler said the board is confident in the group’s strategy and financial strength, and looks forward to building on this momentum in FY2027.
