Quilter Posts Third Straight £3bn Quarter of Inflows, Shares Remain Well Below July High

Quilter's third-quarter update showed about £3bn of core net inflows for the third quarter running, taking this year's total close to the whole of 2025's record. The shares remain well below their July high.

Quilter (LSE: QLT), the UK advice platform and wealth manager, reported core net inflows of £2.891bn for the third quarter yesterday, up 30% on a year earlier. Core net inflows are money added by clients, net of withdrawals, before one-off items.

Quilter shares closed yesterday at 182.8p, up from 180.3p. In the London morning today they were at 180.2p, down 1.42%, on a delayed quote. Since the 1st of June the range has run from a high of 209p on the 6th of July to a low of 170.4p on the 9th of October.

The trading statement came out at 7am yesterday. Year-to-date core net inflows reached £8.850bn, against £6.733bn a year earlier. Chief executive Steven Levin said that puts the year just short of last year’s record.

“We have delivered core net flows of approximately £3 billion in each quarter of 2026, taking year-to-date core net flows to £8.9 billion by the end of the third quarter, just short of the record £9.1 billion delivered in the whole of 2025. We surpassed that milestone early in the fourth quarter.”

Assets under management and administration stood at £160.5bn, 19% above the same point last year, a rise that includes market movement as well as client money. The UK advice platform held £120.8bn of that and the High Net Worth business £35.6bn.

Measure Current Year earlier Change
Q3 core net inflows £2.891bn £2.227bn +30%
Year-to-date core net inflows £8.850bn £6.733bn +31%
Assets at 30 September £160.5bn £134.8bn +19%

The platform took £2.6bn of net inflows in the quarter, up 25%, with independent advisers up 33% and Quilter’s own advisers up 10%. Group gross flows were £6,011m against £4,944m, and the outflow rate was stable. High Net Worth net inflows were £322m, up 35%.

Levin said the UK advice platform market continues to consolidate around a small number of scale providers, and that Quilter is the largest and fastest growing of them. He also flagged current geopolitical uncertainty. He described the quarter as in line with the first-half run-rate, which makes this continuation rather than acceleration.
