The week of July 27 brings the biggest earnings event of the season, as four of the world’s most valuable companies—Microsoft, Meta Platforms, Apple, and Amazon—report results within a 48-hour window.
Microsoft kicks off the stretch on Wednesday, July 29, after the close, with analysts projecting EPS of $4.21 for its fiscal fourth quarter.
The stock has lagged badly this year, down roughly 18% year-to-date, and investors will focus squarely on Azure growth and whether AI infrastructure spending is finally translating into monetization, rather than just compressing margins.

Meta Platforms reports the same evening. Yahoo Finance consensus places EPS around $7.13–$7.23, with revenue estimated near $60.2 billion.
Analysts, including those at Bank of America, expect Meta to top expectations on continued strength in digital advertising, though scrutiny over AI capital expenditures remains elevated following Alphabet’s capex-heavy Q2 report last week, which raised the bar for the rest of the “Magnificent Seven.”
Apple and Amazon both report Thursday, July 30, after the close. Apple’s consensus EPS sits at $1.88, with the stock trading near its 52-week high ahead of the print; Wall Street will watch iPhone revenue, margin pressure from rising memory costs, and progress on Apple Intelligence.
Amazon’s consensus EPS is $1.81, with North America segment revenue estimated near $113.8 billion. AWS growth is the key swing factor, as analysts have been raising cloud estimates on robust AI-driven demand.
Together, these four reports will set the tone for how markets price AI spending against tangible returns—a debate that has already rattled tech stocks following recent earnings from Alphabet, Tesla, and Intel this month.
