CrowdStrike’s share price over the past month, with today’s fall marked (level as at 20:14 London time).
How unusual this is
A fall of this size is not routine for the stock. It ranks 21st among the biggest daily moves of the past six months, a window of 126 sessions, so it is a sizeable move but not the largest the shares have made in that period. The ranking draws on 321 sessions of trading history.
Today’s move set against six months of daily changes.
Trading volume is lighter than usual so far. About 6.35 million shares have changed hands, against a 20-session average of 10.34 million, or 0.61 times the norm. The session is still running, so that total is partial and will keep rising until the US market finishes trading.
In the news
In a Business Wire release published at 1pm in London today, CrowdStrike said it had been named a Leader in the 2026 IDC MarketScape for Modern Endpoint Security for Enterprises. The company said its AIDR business has grown more than 79-fold in three quarters since launch.
