Playtech shares closed today at the low of the session after a sharp fall in London, the third-largest daily move in the past 126 sessions, leaving the gambling group well below its 52-week high.
Playtech (LON: PTEC) shares fell 6.3% in London today, closing at 358.8p. The gambling company’s shares reached 384.6p earlier in the session before sliding to the low of the day, with no recovery into the close.
At 358.8p the shares sit 19.4% below their 52-week high and 54.7% above their 52-week low. They are still up 26.6% so far this year, so the fall comes after solid gains.
Playtech’s daily close over the month to Wednesday 7 October, with the session’s fall marked.
The fall was the third-largest daily move in the past 126 sessions, so it stands out against the stock’s recent behaviour.
