The two partners have achieved a major accomplishment with the ESA (Electronic System Antenna) undergoing DO-160 airborne equipment qualification in March. Notably, it progressed directly from its original design to production, evidencing its high maturity, quality, and the reliable legacy it carries forth. This streamlined path from design to production underscores the robustness of the device and serves as a testament to the collaboration’s commitment to quality and reliability.

In another stride towards market readiness, the Sidewinder terminal, developed through the joint venture, secured its first supplemental type certification (STC) from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) following its flight testing in June. Their roadmap also includes global performance validation and more testing on an additional aircraft, ensuring comprehensive evaluation and demonstration of the terminal’s capabilities across varied operational contexts.
