Bloom Energy (BE) is experiencing a surge in pre-market trading following the announcement of a $5 billion partnership with Brookfield Asset Management (BAM). The collaboration aims to develop AI factories to meet the rapidly growing demands of artificial intelligence computing infrastructure, sending the stock nearly 28% higher before the market open.

A Landmark Partnership for AI Infrastructure

The partnership centers around Brookfield's investment in deploying Bloom Energy's advanced fuel cell technology. The two companies plan to jointly design and deliver AI factories on a global scale, with an initial focus on a European site expected to be announced before the end of the year. This collaboration addresses the critical need for robust and sustainable power solutions for the energy-intensive AI sector.

The market's reaction to this news reflects increasing confidence in Bloom Energy's strategic direction and its potential to capitalize on the AI infrastructure boom. Year-to-date, Bloom Energy's stock has risen by an impressive 271.72%, with bullish momentum carrying the name higher.

Also coming today is an upgrade in price target from Susquehanna, raising expectations on BE to $105 from $43.
