FTSE Heavyweights RELX, BT Group and EasyJet Take Centre Stage Next Week

Investors face a packed diary in the week beginning Monday 20 July 2026, with a number of London-listed companies reporting, but three names stand out as the ones to watch: RELX (LON: REL), BT Group (LON: BT.A) and easyJet (LON: EZJ).

RELX, one of the FTSE 100’s largest constituents, publishes half-year results on Thursday, 23 July. The information and analytics group has drawn heavy analyst attention in recent weeks for its AI-driven analytics push across its legal (LexisNexis), scientific and risk divisions.

With shares down significantly since last year, the market will be watching closely for confirmation that AI-tool adoption is translating into sustained organic growth and whether management reiterates full-year guidance.

BT Group also reports on Thursday, with its first-quarter trading update coming at a pivotal moment. The shares have slid from a 2026 high of around 242p in May to near 198p, and analysts expect Q1 revenue to dip roughly 0.9% to £4.7 billion.

Focus will fall on continued Openreach broadband line losses, progress on CEO Allison Kirby’s cost-cutting and international-exit strategy, and fibre rollout momentum — all against the backdrop of Xavier Niel building a stake in rival Vodafone.

Rounding out the trio, easyJet also issues a trading statement the same day. The budget airline’s update will offer a read on summer booking trends, fares and capacity discipline as holiday demand peaks, with investors keen to see whether cost pressures and fuel prices are being offset by resilient consumer travel spending.

With Compass Group, Fresnillo, 3i Group and Centrica also reporting this week, it is a big one for UK corporate updates, but RELX, BT Group.
