Insulet Closes 6.6% Higher After Third-Quarter Revenue Beat Estimates

Insulet, the Omnipod insulin pump maker, closed 6.6% higher in New York today, the day its third-quarter revenue beat analyst expectations.

Insulet (NASDAQ: PODD) shares closed 6.6% higher at $165.02 in New York today. The company makes the Omnipod, a tubeless insulin pump worn on the body, and published third-quarter results before the US market opened.

Revenue was $842 million, up 19.2% on a year earlier, or 19.6% at constant currency, which strips out exchange-rate swings. Analysts had expected about $832.64 million, so revenue beat expectations.

Results and what comes next

The share move coincided with today’s results. The chief executive is said to expect slower growth in 2027 and to expect rivals to chip away at Omnipod’s market share.

Insulet will present at the Jefferies Global Healthcare Conference in London on the 18th of November at 10:30 GMT, the company said in a release yesterday.
