Aurora Mobile Shares Gain On BYD DiLink Partnership News

Aurora Mobile said on Tuesday it has entered into a partnership agreement with BYD DiLink, a Chinese brand for intelligent connected systems, to leverage there respective technological advantages and collaborate to promote the digital upgrade of the new energy vehicle (NEV) industry.

The two companies will focus on primary areas such as intelligent mobility solutions and intelligent customer service.

According to a press release, BYD has sold more than 910,000 units of NEVs, retaining the company’s ranking at first place for eight consecutive years in terms of annual sales of NEVs in China.

Aurora Mobile will utilise its artificial intelligence, targeted push notification services, analysis and operational machine learning capabilities to help BYD DiLink gain insights into user needs and improve user experience by providing safe, convenient and user-friendly smart mobility services.

Aurora Mobile’s stock price is up over 7% at the time of writing, priced at $6.05, having reached highs of $6.55 earlier in the session.
