Applied Nutrition (LON:APN) shares rose strongly in early Tuesday trading after the sports nutrition and wellness company said full-year revenue is expected to be ahead of market expectations.

The group reported that revenue for the year to 31 July 2025 increased 24% year-over-year to approximately £107 million, compared with £86 million in the same period a year earlier.

Adjusted EBITDA increased about 19% from the 26 million reported in FY24. Strong second-half trading, generating approximately £60 million in revenue, underpinned the performance.

Net cash at the year-end came in at about £18.5 million, excluding IFRS 16 liabilities, ahead of market expectations.

The company stated that the results reflected progress on its multi-pillar global growth strategy, which has focused on expanding distribution and launching new products.

Looking ahead, Applied Nutrition said it expects revenue for the financial year ending July 2026 to be above current market forecasts, citing confidence in its B2B-focused model and its ability to deliver sustained growth.

Thomas Ryder, chief executive of Applied Nutrition, said: “We are proud to report that we have exceeded the guidance we gave at our IPO, with our first full-year results expected to come in ahead of market expectations.

“Our focus and ambition remain as strong as ever – in delivering for our shareholders, customers and team – and we are excited about the opportunities we have in the pipeline for the year ahead.”

The company will publish its full audited results on or around 10 November 2025.

Applied Nutrition shares jumped almost 10% at the open on Tuesday, currently trading around the 144.2p mark. Prior to today's move, the stock had gained around 5% this year and was down 4% in the last 12 months.
