What was behind it

It was reported today from reputable outlets that Bridgepoint raised its 2026 EBITDA guidance (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation) after a third-quarter revaluation of ProEnergy, an asset in its Energy Capital Partners V fund. The company holds a 13% share of the fund’s carried interest, the performance fee paid when investments do well. The company said the revaluation lifts its 2026 performance related earnings and EBITDA above current consensus.
