DCC PLC (LON: DCC) has finalized the sale of its Info Tech business in the UK and Ireland to AURELIUS, a private equity firm. This move, initially announced on July 14, 2025, marks a significant step in DCC’s strategy to simplify its operations and concentrate on its high-growth energy division.
The transaction values the divested business at approximately £100 million on a cash-free, debt-free, and normalised working capital basis. The completion follows customary regulatory approvals.
The sale is intended to allow DCC to accelerate the expansion of its energy business, which the company identifies as its largest and most profitable segment. By focusing on energy, DCC aims to maximize shareholder value and capitalize on growth opportunities within that sector.
