Flutter (FLTR) Share Price Rose 1.75% on the US Listing Update

The Flutter Entertainment PLC (LON: FLTR) share price rose 1.75% after issuing an update about its upcoming listing in the United States on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Monday, 29 January 2024. The company has filed a Form F-20 registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. 

In line with this strategy, Flutter has decided to streamline its stock listings and cancel its secondary listing on Euronext Dublin. The cancellation will take effect at 8.00 am (GMT) on January 29, 2024. Consequently, the final trading day for Flutter’s ordinary shares on Euronext Dublin will be Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

Following the close of trading on this day, trading will be suspended to facilitate the finalisation of pending transactions and reorganisation of shareholdings in preparation for the U.S. listing.

This decision has led to the removal of Flutter from the EUROSTOXX index, effective December 18. However, this change will not impact Flutter’s premium listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) or its inclusion in the FTSE 100 index. 

The company’s shares will continue to be traded on the LSE under the ticker symbol “FLTR.” Following the U.S. listing, Flutter will also be listed on the NYSE under the ticker symbol “FLUT.”

According to U.S. GAAP, Flutter is scheduled to release its full-year financial results for the period ending December 31, 2023, on March 26, 2024. Before this, the company will issue a brief trading update for the quarter and year ending on December 31, 2023, on January 18, 2024, at 7.00 am (GMT).

Flutter will provide further updates as necessary in the lead-up to activating the U.S. listing.
