Netgear fell 10.6% after reporting weaker-than-expected preliminary results.
Johnson & Johnson reported earnings per share of $2.67, beating estimates by 11 cents. Revenue came in slightly below forecasts. The company’s stock initially fell more than 3% premarket but is now at -0.5%.
Plug Power stock jumped 6.6% premarket after announcing an agreement to supply liquid green hydrogen to Walmart.
WH Smith said its subsidiary, Funky Pigeon was subject to a cyber security incident affecting part of its systems on Thursday, 14 April. As a result, it has temporarily suspended orders from the website and is currently investigating. However, they added that no customer payment data, such as bank account or credit card details, were placed at risk.
Kainos released a trading update for the year ended 31 March, stating trading in the period continued to be very strong across both business areas.
GlaxoSmithKline (LON: GSK) shares are down 1% or so in London this morning after it announced that Daprodustat’s application has been accepted for review by the FDA.
After a long weekend, US markets opened on Monday, closing the day lower with the Nasdaq making the biggest slide at just -0.14%.
An even longer weekend in Europe hasn’t helped though, with equities falling in early trading…
