METLEN Energy & Metals (LON: MTLN), the diversified energy and metals group, said on Monday that Yannis Masvoulas has joined as Investor Relations Senior Director, based in London. He reports to Fotini Ioannou, the company’s Group Chief Financial Officer, and will lead METLEN’s engagement with international investors and analysts.
METLEN trades on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker MTLN, alongside its Athens listing (MTLNr.AT) and Bloomberg code MTLN GA.
Masvoulas joins from Morgan Stanley, where he was an Executive Director in equity research covering the metals and mining sector. He advised institutional investors on industry developments including the copper value chain, base metals recycling and resource sustainability, and was part of Morgan Stanley’s top-ranked Metals & Mining research team.

Before Morgan Stanley, he held equity research, financial markets and risk management roles at Macquarie Capital, RBC Capital Markets and Deutsche Bank. He is a CFA Charterholder and holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School.
METLEN said the appointment strengthens its ongoing engagement with global capital markets and supports the expansion of its international shareholder base. The hire brings a sell-side analyst’s perspective in-house, based in London, where the company’s LSE listing sits alongside international institutional demand for the stock.
Placing a specialist mining and metals analyst inside the investor relations function gives METLEN a direct line to the same institutional audience Masvoulas previously advised from the sell side, at a point when the company is seeking to broaden its shareholder register beyond its home market.
