American Express rose more than 1% premarket after beating profit and revenue expectations for the first quarter. They reported a profit of $2.73 per share compared with the $2.44 estimates.
Snap missed earnings and revenue expectations in its latest quarter. However, its stock is trading 0.92% higher premarket.
SAP US-listed shares are down more than 4% premarket, posting earnings per share of €1 on revenue of €7.08B.
Verizon reported earnings per share of $1.35, in line with consensus. Revenue came in at $33.6 billion, above Wall Street expectations of $33.4 billion. Verizon stock is down 1.38% premarket.

After starting the day off on a positive footing, US equities closed lower after Fed Chair Powell said the US central bank would act aggressively to curb inflation. Powell said a 50 basis point hike might occur in May.
