Maersk will cut jobs as part of a major reorganisation that will impact a third of the shipping giants staff.
“A Maersk spokeswoman said that between 26,000 and 27,000 employees out of Maersk’s total headcount of 80,000 will be affected by the restructuring.”

-Asian markets traded mixed with the Nikkei closing 0.01%% lower and the ASX closing down 1.77%.
-USD weakness has continued with the EURUSD now trading at 1.1986, approaching the 1.20 level.
-The RBA left interest rates unchanged at 0.25%
-Zoom Stock surged higher after reporting earnings where it smashed EPS estimates.
-On today’s calendar, we have German and EZ unemployment, EZ inflation and US ISM manufacturing PMI data.
-Names on the earnings calendar today include Wanda Sports, At Home, H&R Block, and Avid Bioservices.
