Vp Appoints Alice Woodwark as CEO

Vp plc (VP.), a specialist equipment rental group, has announced Alice Woodwark as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective February 1, 2026.

This appointment follows a comprehensive recruitment process and signals a focus on maintaining operational excellence and driving shareholder value.

The Board's decision to appoint Woodwark reflects her extensive leadership and operational experience within B2B blue-collar services and FTSE-listed companies. Her background includes a strong emphasis on people and customers, aligning with Vp's commitment to positive community impact.

Woodwark's most recent role was as Managing Director of the public sector division “Communities” at Mitie Group plc. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at Compass Group, including Group Head of Strategy and M&A, and Managing Director roles for Compass UK.

Her early career involved management consultancy at McKinsey & Company, focusing on infrastructure, transport, hospitality, and retail sectors in the UK and US. She also currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of UK Housebuilder Vistry Group PLC.
