Massmart Holdings Ltd is a South African retail company that was previously listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) that owns local brands such as Game, Makro, Builder’s Warehouse and CBW.
It is the second-largest distributor of consumer goods in Africa, the largest retailer of general merchandise, liquor and home improvement equipment and wholesaler of basic foods.
Massmart Holdings Ltd used to trade on the JSE under the stock symbol of MSM before the acquisition by Wallmart caused the stock to delist.
